Elizabeth “Betty” Ann Lather, age 96, died November 17, 2021, at Colfax Health and Rehabilitation Center in Colfax, Wisconsin, with family by her side.
Betty was born on November 14, 1925, in Iroquois South Dakota to the late A.F. and Lily (Knouse) Mae Dollenbacher. Betty was united in marriage Ned “Ole” Lather on January 4, 1947.
Preceding Betty in death is her husband Ole, who passed away in 2005; and brothers: Dale Albert Dollenbacher; and Francis (Gus) Dollenbacher.
She was a devoted mother to her children: Patti Lather (Janet Russell) of Columbus, Ohio; Peggi Brown of Charlotte, North Carolina; Deny Lather of Lake Norden, South Dakota; David Lather of Rochester; Douglas (Laurel) Lather of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; and Paula (Mike) Sperl of Menomonie, Wisconsin; grandchildren: Jason Brown; Kelly (Paul) Pflug; Heidi Hershberger; Chris and Alison Lather; Amir (Essra Mostafa) Ghalib; and Heather, Shane, and Clay McKee; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters: Barbara Grafton; and Kathryn Dusso; and nieces and nephews.
Betty’s family prefers that all who choose to attend please wear a mask.
