Dorn “Pat” Nevins McCormick, age 88 of Sebeka, died peacefully on June 10, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Park Rapids with his loving family by his side.  He was the youngest of 9 children born to John B. & Anna (Dorn) McCormick and lived his entire life on the family farm.

He met and married the love of his life, Elaine Johnson and spent 70 years together.  They had 6 children, 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandbabies.

Pat farmed all his life and also worked at the Land O’ Lakes milk plant in Sebeka.  He was an avid hunter and enjoyed many hunting trips to Montana.  He also enjoyed gardening, cutting firewood, bird watching, his dog Sheppy and was well known for his storytelling.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Nancy (Larry) Gilster; great-granddaughter, Makenna Arildsen; all his siblings: Liz (Herb) Wilson, Jack (Mabel), Link (Edna), Mary (Clarence) Tappe, Julia (Leo) Salo; Elmer (Evelyn); Bill; and Mike (Irene).

He is survived by his wife, Elaine; his children: Patrick (Dianne): Diane (Paul) Akridge; Jan; Herb (Theresa) and Ben (Wendy).
