Donald Albert Bistodeau was born on October 25, 1931, in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. He died on January 18, 2025, at the age of 93.
Surviving Don is his wife of 68 years: Janet Joan Woodward Bistodeau; children: Jill (Paul) Nafstad; Jay (Kathy) Bistodeau; and Jodi (Michael) McCann; 6 grandchildren: Claire (Ricky) Nafstad; Jon (Ashlynn) Nafstad; Jacob (Theresa) Bistodeau; Jenna (Dustin) Lind; Amy (Kellen) Kouba; and Shelly McCann; 9 great-grandchildren all of whom he loved dearly; many nieces, nephews and and a host of friends.
Don was a Proud member of the US Marine Corps where he was a drill instructor. He climbed the ladder at Minnegasco, and became a Vice President without having a college degree. He retired at 59 years old. Longtime owner of Woodland Park Resort and Campground on East Battle Lake in Henning MN. They later built their dream lake home on the property. They spent many happy, fun years there.
He enjoyed spending time with family, golfing, playing dice and cards, and a cold Keystone.
