Donald Bentley

Donald Ray Bentley was born on February 7, 1957 in Parkers Prairie to Marvin & Kathryn (Oldenburg) Bentley.  He graduated from New York Mills High School with the class of 1975.  He went to work for a local tree service company and did building restoration and because of that was able to travel extensively through out the United States. 

Don loved nature and every chance he got he was out fishing and hunting.  He took meticulous care of his yard and loved to garden.  Don was a kind soul and would help anyone out who needed it.  He loved having a good time and every stranger became a friend.  Every morning Don and his sister Shirley would play Yahtzee, drink coffee, and talk about their respective plans for the day. 

Don is preceded in death by his parents Marvin & Kathryn Bentley.

Don’s passing is mourned by his son Jeremy (Connie) Vandermay, sister Shirley Quist, brother Daniel (Elaine) Bentley, aunts, uncles, many cousins and a host of friends.
