Diane Janette Meyers (Louma) was born on March 24, 1949, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Al and Carmen Louma (Rodriguez). She was baptized at Lutheran Redeemer Church Minneapolis, Minnesota
She grew up in North Minneapolis alongside her twin sister Marian and her brother Allan. From an early age, Diane carried with her a gentle, creative spirit that would stay with her throughout her life.
She met the love of her life, Brad Meyers, at Jay’s Drive-In in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. Their meeting marked the beginning of a beautiful love story, and on October 26, 1968, they were united in marriage at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church. Together, Diane and Brad built a life rooted in love, laughter, and family.
Diane found joy in creating. She had a special talent for arts and crafts and especially loved seasonal projects. Christmas was her favorite time of year, and each fall she would send Brad out to gather greenery so she could make her cherished Christmas wreaths. Her home was always filled with the warmth of handmade decorations, the smell of canning in the kitchen, and the simple comforts that made everyone feel welcome.
She enjoyed music, playing cards, taking her once-a-month Tuesday trip to the casino, fishing, cruising with her husband, and spending quiet time doing the things she loved. More than any hobby, Diane treasured time with her family. Whether it was a big gathering or a small afternoon visit, she was happiest when those she loved were close by. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she adored every moment spent with them.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Bradley Meyers; her daughters, Mondai (Mike) Sherman, Carmelle (Troy) Hanson, and April (Toby) Kilby; her son, Bradley (Jackie) Meyers; her grandchildren, Michael and Matt Sherman, Ethan and Emily Kilby, Abby, Cal , Tina Hanson and Kayla Meyers ; her great-grandchildren, Harper, Kennedi, Hadley, Maren Sherman, Bryson Meyers Sophia , and Lincoln Hanson her loving cat Cloudy; her twin sister, Marian (Ken) Meyers; her brother, Allan (Mary) Louma; along with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
