Deloris was born on February 19,1928, to Albin and Mabel (Magnuson) Roseen and raised on the farm in Roseau County, Minnesota. She lived there until she met and married Everett George Olson in 1946. Together they raised five children: Carol, Parilee, Deborah, Denise, and Paul.
In 1973 Everett, Deloris, Paul and a foster child, Art, moved to Isabella, Minnesota. They purchased a small café and grocery store. Deloris worked hard doing the cooking and baking; she was famous for her caramel rolls and pies. She also helped in the grocery store and sport shop. Everett passed away in 1987. Deloris moved to Menahga, Minnesota in 1992.
In 1995 she married Richard Nanik who passed away in 1997. Deloris married William (Glenn) Schmock in July of 2003. He passed away in 2021.
Deloris’s hobbies included spending time with children and grandchildren, sewing, taking walks, and dancing.
Deloris is preceded in death by her parents; sons-in-law: Charles Fynboh and Thomas Crohn; daughter-in-law Mary Olson; siblings: Doris Norquist, Kermit Roseen, Leroy Roseen, Luanne Howell, and Baby Boy Roseen.
Deloris is survived by her children: Carol (Dave) Halvorson, Parilee (Charles) Fynboh, Deborah (Thomas) Crohn, Denise (Terry) Ristinen, and Paul Olson; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; Sister in-laws and brother-in- laws, many nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
