Debra Krotzer

Deb (Stickney) Krotzer, age 68 years old, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 8, 2023, at Lakewood Hospital in Staples, Minnesota.

Deb was born January 11, 1954, in Watertown, MN to David and Sigrid Stickney. Deb was the youngest of six children. She married Mark Krotzer, the love of her life, on January 11, 1974. Married for almost 49 years, they had three wonderful sons: Jacob, Andrew, and Mark David. Before her retirement, Deb worked for Hennepin County’s Service Centers, ending her career as a district manager. Deb loved all animals and found great enjoyment in feeding an abundance of wildlife. Together with Mark, Deb spent hours enjoying their dream property, in Staples, and their beloved pets, Kimi and Chuck. They enjoyed watching F1 car racing and hockey, and Deb loved to read books and watch movies.  Deb maintained a very special connection with her grandchildren, always encouraging them and reaching out through texts and emails. In recent years, Deb wrote her own daily devotionals and shared them with many family members. Deb loved the Lord and was a member of Old Country Church.

Deb is survived by her loving husband, Mark; children, Jacob (Brenda) and Andrew (Wendy); daughter-in-law, Kristi; grandchildren, Noel (Hunter), Asha, David, Owen, Nathan, Norah, Parker, Louden, Nicole, and Nyah; and great-grandchild, Luke. She also survived by her brothers, George (Suzanne) and David (Estrella); sister, Diane; sister-in-law, Lynn (Lisa); and numerous nieces and nephews. Deb was preceded in death by her parents, David and Sigrid; brothers, Jerry and James; and son, Mark David.
