Deborah “Debbie” Faye (Plautz) Yglesias, age 69, of Wadena, Minnesota, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at her home under the loving care of her family and Hospice of the Red River Valley.
Deborah Faye Plautz was born on October 19, 1955, in Wadena, Minnesota to Louis and Leota (Schroedl) Plautz. She attended and graduated from Wadena High School as part of the class of 1973.
Right after high school she went to work for Homecrest in Wadena, and this is where she met Rudy Yglesias. They later moved back to Wadena where they were married on June 19, 1976, and to this union two sons were born, Cody and Brody.The couple moved down to the Cities area for four years where she worked for Minco.
Debbie worked as a nursing aide for 40 years; starting in Shady Lane, St. Cloud, the Cities, and then Woodview in Wadena.
Debbie enjoyed fishing, camping, casinos, playing mobile games, cooking and crocheting.
Deborah is preceded in death by her parents Louie and Leaota, siblings: Mary (Jim) Murphy, Sandra (Sam) Killian, and Diane Pingree, and brother-in-law Gary Kasper.
Deeply loved, Debbie’s passing will be mourned by her husband of 48 years Rudy; her sons Cody (Melissa) and Brody; four grandchildren: Logan, Brianna, Jenna, and Riley; siblings: George (Pam) Plautz and Brenda Kasper; brother-in-law Lowell Pingree; many other relatives and a host of friends.
