David Dale Trosen

David Dale Trosen passed away on April 10, 2024 in his home at the age of 77. He was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota on October 18, 1946, to the late Herman and Grace (Hulst) Trosen.

Neither rain, sleet, snow, nor dangerously thin ice kept David from his favorite fishing spots on “area” lakes. He enjoyed spending time with his family, church family, and friends, and loved sharing his joy of fishing, gardening, baked fish and grilling with everyone in his life. David also had a special place in his heart for his many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Herman and Grace (Hulst) Trosen; siblings: infant sister, Evelyn (Wayne) Schweiger, Robert (Gladys) Trosen, Ferd (Ruth) Trosen, Dirk Trosen, Herman (Alice) Trosen, Bernice (Robert) Geiser, Doris (Jim) Lanz, and Grace (Leonard) Freitag.

David is survived by his children David Scot (LeAnna) Trosen; Kimberly (Jeff) Heisler; grandchildren: Jordan (Christina) Heisler; Emily Trosen; Luke (Keilah) Trosen; Josiah Heisler; Markail Heisler; and great granddaughter Sophie Heisler; former wife Rita Trosen; siblings: Jack (Grayce) Trosen; Janice Carlson; Janet (Charles) Lamason; sister-in-law: Phyllis Trosen and many nieces, nephews and friends.
