Cora Wiirre

Cora Kay Reemts was born on May 28, 1979 in Parkers Prairie, Minnesota to Robert “Bob” Charles and Julie Elyse (Bowman) Reemts.  She was baptized at home and confirmed at Elmo Lutheran Church in rural Parkers Prairie.  Cora graduated from the Henning High School with the class of 1997. 

On June 23, 2007 Cora was united in marriage with Stephen Todd Wiirre at Elmo Lutheran Church in rural Parkers Prairie.  Their marriage was blessed with three children: Taten, Tannah and Teghan.  Cora’s priority in life was her Faith and Family.  She enjoyed her employment at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Henning and The Station in Deer Creek.

She loved spending time with her family, practicing her Faith in the Lord and watching her family and friends drive in the local demo derby’s.  She like to watching The Walking Dead and American Idol shows on television, shopping and cooking hotdishes.  She loved to decorate her house for the change of seasons and holidays.

On July 13, 2023 Cora passed away peacefully at her home in Henning, Minnesota at 44 years of age.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. 

Cora is survived by her husband, Todd Wiirre; children: Taten Stephen Charles Wiirre; Tannah Kay Elyse Wiirre and Teghan Robert Thomas Wiirre;  parents, Robert Sr. and Julie Reemts; siblings: Heidi Wendt and Robert “Bob” Jr. Reemts; many other relatives and a host of friends.
