Charles Raymond Bimberg, age 85, was born on January 12, 1941, in Wadena County, Minnesota, one of thirteen children to Merle and Lucile Manselle. At six years old he was adopted by Charles and Margaret Bimberg who raised him and his sister Donna Hietala as their own. Chuck went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 16, 2026, in Long Prairie, Minnesota.

Chuck was united in marriage to Judy (Dague) Bimberg on August 20, 1960 in Wadena, MN. Together they raised their three children in the Verndale area until 1976 when the family moved to Illinois; returning home to Minnesota in 1978.

Chuck worked at various construction sites throughout his life and later at Homecrest in Wadena. He was a man who found joy in simple moments—spending time with family, playing card games, and reading Louis L’Amour books. Chuck and Judy were long-time members of The Assemblies of God Church in Wadena where their faith community was an important part of their lives.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Judy; their three children, Cindy (Arthur) Shutt of Minto, ND, Raymond (Lan) Bimberg of Rochester, MN, and Robert (Jennifer) Bimberg of Mesa, AZ; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one sister, Carol (Sheldon) Stockdale. He is also remembered by many nieces and nephews. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, his adoptive parents, and eleven siblings.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Long Prairie Care Center, 20 SE 9th Street, Long Prairie, MN 56347.

Interment of cremains will remain with the family.
