Carrie Erickson Obituary

Carrie Michelle Erickson was born on November 11, 1973 in Casper, Wyoming. Carrie was raised by Kevin and Lois (Reetz) Angier. She attended school in Litchfield, Minnesota then attended Hutchinson Community College where she studied business. Following college Carrie traveled selling farm journals throughout the Dakotas.

On August 11, 2007 Carrie was united in marriage with Troy Erickson at Marysville Swedesburg Lutheran Church in Waverly, Minnesota which Troy’s great-great-grandpa helped build.

Carrie enjoyed bonfires, gardening, watching documentaries, collecting, and sitting outside where she enjoyed a cup of coffee. She also loved taking her 1967 Harley-Davidson, Police Special out cruising.

Carrie passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family with the gentle care of Knute Nelson Hospice at her home in Wadena, Minnesota on October 23, 2023 at 49 years of age. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Carrie is survived by her loving husband Troy Erickson of Wadena; her daughters Emma and Elsa and her sister Cathy.
