Carole Ann Peterson was born November 21st, 1938, in Minneapolis MN. Her parents were the late Herbert and Margaret (Lowe) Peterson. She worked in the restaurant/bar business for years.
Carole married Philip Sharbach in 1960. Their marriage was blessed with 4 children: Diana, Tracy, Steven, and Tammy.
Carole married Bob Steward in 1979 in Las Vegas Nevada. They moved up to Sebeka MN in 1981 and opened The Wreck Center. She owned that for 3 years then opened the Branding Iron. They moved back to Las Vegas where she went to school to become a massage therapist. They moved back to Wadena MN where she practiced massage therapy and then moved to South Dakota where they opened a bar and grill and she continued her massage therapy business.
They moved to Southern California in January 2005. Bob passed away shortly after. In August of 2019 she married Ed Tibbs. Ed passed away July of 2020. She made her home there until April 26th, 2021, when she moved back to Wadena MN.
She passed away peacefully under the loving care of Knute Nelson Hospice Care on May 29th, 2021, 82 years old. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She enjoyed playing softball, bowling, throwing horseshoes and get-togethers with friends and family.
Preceding Carole in death are her parents Herbert and Margaret Peterson, brother Richard Peterson, husband Bob Steward & husband Ed Tibbs.
Surviving Carole are her children Diana (Ron) Turner of North Las Vegas NV, Tracy (Rick) Price of Wadena MN, Steven Sharbach of Carson City NV, Tammy (Phil Koljonen) Tucker of Wadena MN and Mike (Gina) Marushin of Avon MN; stepdaughter: Cindy Sue Price of Ramona, CA; 19 Grandchildren; 18 Great Grandchildren; niece Michelle “Mikey” (Beckman) Motchensbacher of Wadena MN and many other relatives and a host of friends.
