Bruce Holmstrom

Bruce Alan Holmstrom was born July 23, 1958 in New York Mills, Minnesota to Jack and Beverly (Lofback) Holmstrom. He attended school at Elk River Senior High. Bruce honorably served in the United States Marine Corp after high School.  He lived in California, Texas and Minnesota while working construction.

Bruce had an amazing grin, dimples, and very kind eyes. He loved kids and kids loved him. Bruce enjoyed putzing around the yard, cooking, reading, watching the birds, and listening to music. One of Bruce’s favorite songs was Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd. He also loved his dogs: Sisu and Rena.

Bruce passed away on August 8, 2019 at his home in Deer Creek, Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Timothy Holmstrom; grandparents: Eddie & Lempi Holmstrom, Leonard & Helmi Lofback; and cousin Troy Niebergall.

Survived by his brother Greg Holmstrom of St. Paul and sister Sue Terry of Blaine.
