Brian Goeden

Brian Christopher Goeden was born on May 26, 1982 to Donald and Patricia (Hayes) Goeden in Wadena, Minnesota. He was baptized at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Wadena. Brian graduated from the Wadena High School with the class of 2000. Following high school, Brian attended Alexandria Tech School where he obtained a degree in finance and credit management.

On May 17, 2008 Brian was united in marriage to Carrie Brunkow at Blacks Grove Park, rural Wadena, Minnesota. Their marriage was blessed with a son: Gunnar. Brian was employed the past 16 years for R.D. Offutt Company in Perham, Minnesota as an assistant manager to the Perham Farm.

Brian was a very loving and compassionate person. He always maintained a glass half full perspective on everything.

On July 21, 2021 Brian passed away unexpectedly following an ATV accident near his home. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Brian is preceded in death by his mother: Patricia; grandfather: Leo Goeden; and significant other Amber Gorentz.

Surviving Brian is his son: Gunnar Goeden of Wadena; father: Donald Goeden of Wadena; Gunnar’s mother, Carrie Goeden of Wadena; grandmother: Theresa Goeden; sister: Tammy Wittman of Wadena; niece: Kitana; Amber’s son, Caiden; many other relatives and a host of friends.
