Blanche "Peggy" Goeson

Blanche “Peggy” Marjori Comstock was born on August 11, 1928 in Williston, North Dakota.  Her parents were the late Emry and Laura (Kregger) Comstock.  Peggy grew up on the family farm in Alexander, North Dakota.  Peggy attended school in Alexander and Williston, North Dakota.  On August 11, 1944 Peggy was united in marriage to Ben Goeson in Sidney, Montana.  Their marriage was blessed with 2 children.  Peggy and Ben made their home in Williston where Peggy raised their children and Ben was employed at the Triple 3 Filing Station for a year and then at  United Auto Service for 9 years.  Peggy and Ben then resided in Billings, Montana for 13 years where Ben was a manager for the Tractor Supply Company.  In 1973 Peggy and Ben made their home in Butler, Minnesota when they purchased a farm. Peggy and Ben sold their farm to their son, Monte, in 1990.  Ben passed away on September 13, 2017.

On March 28, 2021 Peggy passed away at Harvest Glen, Perham Living at 92 years of age.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.  Preceding Peggy in death were her parents, Emry and Laura Comstock; husband, Ben Goeson; sisters: Ruth Holm and Laverne Rogers; brother, Kenneth (Pat) Comstock; brothers-in-law: Jerry Goeson; Ingman Holm; Loren Roger; Thomas Goeson; Bruce (Marlene) Goeson; sister-in-law: Joyce Smith.

Peggy is survived by her daughter: VonDaLee Graba of Detroit Lakes; son: Monte (Jolene) Goeson, of New York Mills; 8 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-laws: Elva (Hunter) Smith of Williston, North Dakota; Dorthelda (Virgil “Smokey”) Dunn of Gernsey, Wyoming; brothers-in-law: Robert Goeson of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; and also many other relatives and a host of friends.
