Betty McManigle

Betty Jane McManigle was born on May 24, 1948 to Wallace and Lorraine (Zuech) McManigle in Wahpeton, North Dakota. She attended High School in Wadena, Minnesota, graduating with the class of 1966. After graduating high school, Betty worked at various local establishments and in the local community and more recently at the Ottertail Bakery.

Betty enjoyed bingo and casino trips with her sisters, family and friends. She loved to travel and visit new places. Some of her favorite destinations were New York City, Chicago, Las Vegas, Branson, and especially road trips to Montana with her family. Betty treasured her family and spending time with them, attending family events and her grandchildren’s events and activities.

Preceding Betty in death are her parents: Wallace and Lorraine McManigle; brother, Larry McManigle nephew, Jesse McManigle; and Don Christianson.

Betty is survived by her special friend and companion: Herb Christensen; children: David (Sara Quincer) Christianson; Jody (Dan Weller) Christianson; Thomas (Amy) Skarka; grandchildren: Dan Christianson; Derek Christianson; Devan Christianson; Erik Christianson; Aaron Christianson; Samantha Skarka; and Dylan Skarka; siblings: Mary Ann (Phil) Greenwaldt; Eugene (Jean) McManigle; Walter (Aggie) McManigle; Beverly McManigle; Wallace Jr. (Lynda) McManigle; Nancy (John)  Schwartz; Bruce (Penny) McManigle; Jim (Jackie) McManigle; Debra (Dennis) Malone; Ronald (Rose) McManigle; Donna (Danny) Schmitz; Ricky McManigle; and Curtis McManigle; many other relatives and a host of friends.
