Beth Waskosky

Beth Lee Hastings was born on February 17, 1953, in Fargo, North Dakota. Her parents were the late Robert and Kathryn (Olson) Hastings.

Beth graduated from Oak Grove Lutheran High School in Fargo, North Dakota with the class of 1971. She received her master’s degree in Education at the North Dakota State University. Beth taught upper-level High School.

On September 13, 1998, Beth was united in marriage with Steven Waskosky at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Parkers Prairie. They made their home in Deer Creek, Minnesota where Beth taught at area schools.

Beth enjoyed sewing, knitting, and crossword puzzles.

On November 22, 2021, Beth Lee Waskosky passed away at Sandford Medical Center in Fargo, North Dakota at 68 years of age. She will be dearly missed by her friends and family. Preceding Beth in death are her parents Robert and Kathryn Hastings, and brother Jim Hastings.

Surviving Beth is her loving husband, Steven Waskosky; sons: Chris (Jessie) Barker, Paul Barker; grandchildren: Lucas and Alexander; brother: Brad (Connie) Hastings; sister-in-law: Mary Hastings, along with many other relatives and a host of friends.
