Beatrice Ann "Bea" Christianson, age 81, of Wadena, Minnesota, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family and under the care of Vivie Hospice.
Beatrice Ann Bachmeier was born on May 7, 1944, in Sykeston, North Dakota. She was the cherished daughter of Milton and Ann Bachmeier and grew up in a lively household with her siblings.
On October 23, 1961, Bea married Carl David Christianson in Devils Lake, North Dakota. Together they built a life filled with love and family. Bea and Carl were blessed with four children: daughters Theresa and Laura, and sons Christopher and Todd.
Bea worked for 15 years at Lucky Bea's Restaurant in Wadena, Minnesota—a fitting name for a place where her warmth undoubtedly touched many lives. Though she had some high school education, her greatest accomplishments were found in the love she shared with her family and the joy she brought to those around her.
Bea will be remembered for her resilience through life’s challenges and the deep connections she fostered with family and friends. Her memory will continue to bring comfort to all who knew her.
Deeply loved, Bea’s passing will be mourned by her daughters: Theresa Pikula and Laura Huffstickler; 12 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; siblings: Mary Volk, Adam, Rose Harrison, Paul, Alice Winnegge, Judy Tollefson, Sharron Mannie, Patty Larson, and Jerome “Ricky”; many other relatives and a host of friends.
May she rest in peace alongside her beloved husband Carl and sons Christopher and Todd, siblings: Johnny, Eddy, Pete, Mike, Frank, Irene Bjerke and Betty Christianson.
