Arthur “Art” Felix Zielinski was born on May 18, 1933 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. His parents were the late Theodore and Dalphia (Seim) Zielinski. Art graduated from Stevens Point High School with the class of 1950 and then was employed with the Soo Line Railroad as a telegraph operator. On June 14, 1991 Art was united in marriage with Carol Idella Gunderson in Sisseton, South Dakota. They made their home in Blaine, retiring to Henning in 1995. During retirement, Art enjoyed part time work with Surge, driving school bus, along with custodial work for the Henning Public School and was the maintenance supervisor at Clement Manor of Henning for 15 years.

Art loved his faithful Yorkshire companion, Mac, carpentry, reading, watching “Gun Smoke”, gardening, polka music, and dancing.

On September 2, 2020 Art passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family and the gentle care of Knute Nelson Hospice at his home in rural Henning at 87 years of age.
