Anthony Reinhold Reineke III, age 80, of Vining, Minnesota, passed away on September 23, 2025, at his home surrounded by family after a short history of cancer.
Anthony was born on March 21, 1945, the third of six boys to Anthony Jr. “Anton” and Ruth (Bigalke) Reineke in Wheaton, Minnesota. Anthony attended school through the eighth grade.
Anthony was united in marriage to Norma Kimber at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Henning, Minnesota on November 16, 1968. The couple were lifetime members of St. Edwards Catholic Church. They also made their home south of Henning until later moving to Vining.
He worked for Hilgren’s in Parkers Prairie, Minnesota for a short time. Anthony worked part time as a town cop in Deer Creek, Henning, and Underwood. He served as a Dance Hall Cop at the Triangle. Later he worked for Stuart Construction doing road construction.
Anthony loved to work with small engines, mainly lawn mower fixing.
Anthony is survived by his wife of 56 years Norma; daughters: Pamela (David Reque) of Farwell, Minnesota, Robin (Jon) Dale of Benson, Minnesota; four grandchildren; brothers Charles (Jane) of Spring Valley, Raymond of Wheaton, Minnesota, and David of Parkers Prairie, Minnesota; sister-in-law Joann Reineke of Henning; Norma’s family; and other extended family and friends.
Anthony is preceded in death by his parents; son Paul; brothers Leon (Annella) and James Reineke; and sister-in-law Becky Reineke.
