Amie Esko

Amie Joy (Shultz) Esko, age 84, passed away quietly at her home in Wadena, Minnesota, on Thursday, March 13, 2025.

Amie was born on January 17, 1941. She was the sixth out of nine children born to Alvin and Dorothy (Horner) Shultz of Ottertail County.

Preceded in death by her parents Alvin and Dorothy Shultz, her children Roger and Rich, her siblings Dennis, Mervin, Elvin (Butch), Doris Reid, and Jean Williford.

Deeply loved, Amie’s passing will be mourned by her children: Sandy (Dan Willman) Rapp, Gene (Jennifer) Heard, and William (Jenna) Esko; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her siblings: Donna Hardin, Robert Shultz, and Peggy Buchanan; many nieces and nephews.

As per Amie’s request, no public memorial services will be held.
