Aloma June (Koplin) Gullick was born on July 2, 1944, at the Wesley Hospital in Wadena, MN. Her parents were the late Alvin and Emma (Kempf) Koplin.
She attended school in Ottertail at St. John’s Lutheran Church and Perham High School. She graduated with the Class of 1962. She moved to Minneapolis, MN where she met and married Warren Gullick in 1964. Their marriage was blessed with a son, Clayton.
She was employed as a Nurses Aide, was a Licensed Daycare Provider and as a Dental Receptionist.
When her husband Warren retired, they moved back to Ottertail in 1995. Her favorite things in life were watching her granddaughter, Amanda grow up and spending time with her. She also enjoyed baking cookies and spending time with friends and family.
On October 21, 2024, Aloma passed away at her home at 80 years of age. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Preceding Aloma in death were her parents, Alvin and Emma; and her husband, Warren.
Aloma is survived by her son, Clayton (Molly) Gullick; granddaughter, Amanda Gullick; bonus granddaughter, Autumn (Kody) Evers and their children, Declan, Kolton and Kaizen; bonus grandson, Josh (Jacqueline) Jasman and their children, Adelynn, Greysen, Emersyn and Hudsen; sister, Annette (Kent) Poppinga; brother, John Koplin; nieces and nephews: Becky Poppinga, Scott (Gina) Poppinga, Mike (Julie) Poppinga, Tami Koplin and Daniel (Joey) Koplin; many other relatives and a host of friends.
