Willard "Bill" Boehner

Willard “Bill” Lesly Boehner was born on October 22, 1939 at home in Beaver Township, Polk County, rural Amery, Wisconsin.  His parents were the late Ardie Christian and Helen Isabel (Johnson) Boehner.  Bill resided in Anoka and was employed at Thermo Tech Plastics in Hopkins, Minnesota.

On August 27, 1966 Bill was united in marriage with Joanne Eileen Caswell in the United Methodist Church in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. In 1970 they moved to Lester Prairie where they farmed and then in 1980 made their home in rural Richville where they farmed and Bill drove grain truck for his son, Mark.  Bill retired in 2001.

On September 5, 2019 Bill passed away peacefully at his home in Richville, Minnesota at 79 years of age.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.  Preceding Bill in death were his parents, Ardie and Helen; his son, Clay; siblings: Waldo and Wallace.        

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Joanne Boehner of Richville; son, Mark Boehner of Richville; siblings: Wayne (Mary) Boehner of Grand Rapids; Deloris Clapp of Maple Lake; Melva Hall of Brooklyn Park; Helen Gentz of Renville; many other relatives and a host of friends.
