Robert Gonzales Trevino was born on November 5, 1942 in Apache, Oklahoma. His parents were the late Felix and Mary (Gonzales) Trevino. Robert graduated from Capital Hill High School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with the class of 1960. From January 30, 1964 to January 28, 1966 Robert served honorably in the United States Army. Returning to Oklahoma City, Robert owned and operated his own contracting company and remodeling business. He was also employed by Tinker Air Force Base as a civilian in Midwest City, Oklahoma.
In 2011, he made his home in South Carolina to be near his daughter and grandchildren. His family relocated to Perham, Minnesota and Robert joined them in 2018. He enjoyed fishing, horseshoes, crossword puzzles and reading, especially the Bible.
On July 25, 2018 Robert passed away at Prairie View Assisted Living at 75 years of age. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Preceding Robert in death were his parents: Felix and Mary; goddaughters: Dana and Kelly Trevino; sisters: Celia Badello, Irene Nievez, Tommy Maize; and brother, Felix Trevino, Jr.
Daughter: Starla (Dr. Steven) Murrell of Perham; Son, Robert Aaron Trevino of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Dana, Emily, Nicholas, Lucy, Paul, Nathanael, Charlotte, Ava, Jackson, Kaitlynn, Nina, Toga, Elisabeth and Jacob, 4 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; Siblings: Mary Louis Watson, Rose Castillo, Richard Trevino, Martin Trevino, Mike (Nancy) Trevino, Ana (Bob) Milligan and Ben (Judy) Trevino; many other relatives and a host of friends.
