Patrick Michael Cochran was born on February 20, 1967 in River Falls, Wisconsin. His parents are Paul and Doris Cochran. Pat grew up in New Jersey until the family moved to a small dairy farm in 1979 in rural Sebeka, Minnesota. He graduated from the Sebeka High School with the Class of 1985. After high school he stayed on the farm to help his parents with the farm. On February 14, 1992, Patrick married Kathleen Hyland and had two boys: Aiden in 1997 and Liam in 1998. He was then employed at Janson Dairy. Before Julie agreed to marry Pat, he had to get a job besides farming. In 2000 he started working for Lund Boats, where he has worked until his untimely death. On June 2, 2001 Patrick was united in marriage to Julie (Huwe) Oakland, they now had a happily blended family; Aaron, Katelin, Aiden and Liam.
Patrick’s hobbies included R.C. Helicopters, collecting guns and ammo, fishing and being on his iPad looking for deals. He could never turn down a good deal on ammo, even though he never shot his guns.
On January 1, 2019 Patrick passed away at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota at 51 years of age. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Preceding Patrick in death by Luella and Raymond Clymer.
Patrick leaves behind his wife, Julie of 17 years and 6 months; children: Aaron (Tena) Oakland of Watford City, ND; Katelin (Richard) Kouba of Regent, ND; Aiden Cochran of Sebeka; and Liam Cochran of Wadena; granddaughter, Audrey Oakland; his parents, Paul and Doris Cochran of Sebeka and Michael (Cynda) Clymer of Hudson, WI; Sister Sherri (Jonathan) Korfe Wadena, Brother Ray and Lisa (Mell) Cochran Wadena, many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
