Norman Richard Sederstrom was born to Henry and Florence (Langa) Sederstrom on October 1, 1934 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Norman attended school until the eighth grade. Norman made his home in Minneapolis where he was employed by Glidden Paint. He was employed as a journeyman with Swanson & Schweigert Plumbing in Minneapolis for 38 years. In the 1960’s, Norman purchased a home on Elm Island Lake, Aiken, MN and took permanent residence after retiring in 1990. Some of Norman’s favorite hobbies include hunting and fishing on his pontoon.
On May 1, 2018, Norman passed away unexpectedly at the Elder’s Home in New York Mills at 83 years of age. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents; and 4 brothers.
Survived by daughters: Wendy (Dan) Olson of Henning; Terri (Bruce) Carr of Ottertail; sons: Ray (Leone) Sederstrom of Hewitt; Rick (Dawn) Sederstrom of Minneapolis; sister, Arlene Vick; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren many other relatives and a host of friends.
