Masen Knight

Masen Jolby Knight was born June 22, 2005 to Crickette Knight at the Glacial Ridge Hospital in Glenwood, Minnesota. He was a student at Henning and Deer Creek Public Schools.  

Music was Masen’s passion.  He loved singing and listening to many types of music with his favorite being LOUD music that often shook the house. He was intelligent and enjoyed challenging Pastor Randy on biblical topics. Another interest of Masen’s was cooking, with chicken alfredo being one of his specialties. He often offered to make supper and claimed the “Insta-pot” as HIS.

Masen loved online gaming and liked to be the one in charge and giving commands. He was a leader and had big plans for his future and talked about it all the time. For being so young, Masey was very political and watched the news and took a stand for he believed in. He wanted to have a good life. He wanted it so much. 

On July 6, 2019, Masen passed away at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Rextin Jaymes and many great-grandparents.

Masen will be forever remembered and loved by his mother: Crickette Knight, Henning; parents: Darcy and Leslie Deckert, Henning; special aunt: Anni Knight, Brooten; uncle: Waylon Knight, Henning; special cousins: Skylar, Rorri, Hazel, Lexi, Emmett, and Briella; special friends: Christopher and Hailee Shepersky, who Masen loved very much.
