Lynn Burmeister

Lynn “Boo” Earl Burmeister was born on December 18, 1953 in Perham, Minnesota.  His parents were the late Lester Earl and Inez (Schultz) Burmeister.  Boo attended school in New York Mills and graduated from the Perham High School with the class of 1971.  He enlisted in the National Guard for one year in Texas.  Boo returned to the family farm in Ottertail, farming with his Dad until retiring in 2000. 

On October 16, 2007 Boo was united in marriage with Cheryl Jean Lunak at the United Methodist Church in Ottertail, Minnesota.  Boo loved traveling out west on his Harley-Davidson, hunting elk, deer and ice fishing.  He was on the Ottertail Volunteer Fire Department, First Responder, a member of the Ottertail Rod & Gun Club, Minnesota Patriot Guard and the American Legion in Deer Creek.  Boo was also a member of the Snowmobile Association where he enjoyed grooming the trails.

On October 19, 2018, Boo passed away at Tri-County Hospital in Wadena, Minnesota at 64 years of age. 

He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Cheryl; mother-in-law, Linda Lunak; step-sons: Daniel Frost and Matthew Frost; and an enormous amount of friends.
