Joel Wegscheid

Joel David Wegscheid was born to Elmer and Joyce (Kovar) Wegscheid on September 12, 1963 at Wesley Hospital, Wadena, Minnesota. He lived all his life in Wadena/Bluffton area, graduated with the Class of 1981 from Wadena High School. Joel attended Detroit Lakes Technical College for agriculture. He owned and operated his own business of Joel’s Cabinets and Construction, building cabinets, furniture and even homes. Joel enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survived by his mother, Joyce Wegscheid of Wadena; daughter: Kaitlin (fiancé, Michael Moen) Wegscheid of Henning; son, Brandon Wegscheid of Bluffton; sister, Becky (Vern) Matthiesen of Wadena; brothers: Ed (Dawn) Wegscheid and Rick Wegscheid, both of Wadena; many other family and friends. Preceded in death by his father, Elmer; grandparents: Joe (Margaret) Wegscheid; and Ed (Elsie) Kovar.
