Jerome Feela

Jerome Donald Feela was born on January 11, 1936 to Frank and Helen (Hanych) Feela in Browerville, Minnesota. He grew up and attended school in Browerville.

On May 4, 1957 Jerome was united in marriage to Alvina Theresa Karst Feela at St. John’s Catholic Church in Lastrup, Minnesota. Their marriage was blessed with nine children. Jerome worked at Homecrest in Wadena, Minnesota as a machinist for 10 years, retiring in 1998. He enjoyed fishing, reading, gardening and working on puzzles. He was a loving father and grandfather.

Jerome passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, May 13, 2019 with his loving family by his side. He will be dearly missed by all his family and friends. Preceding Jerome in death are his parents, Frank and Helen; Florian Feela; Raymond Feela; Matt Feela; Arnold Feela; Leona E. Moeller; Clarence Feela; Thomas Feela; Loretta Line and his infant daughter, Mary Theresa.

He will forever be remembered by his loving wife Alvina of Deer Creek, Minnesota; children: Douglas J. Feela (Theresa Parker); Rick D. Feela (Pam); Jerilynn M. Sweazey (Everett); Mark D. Feela; Dawn M. Spartz (David); Cynthia D. Feela (Rick Haroldson); Jeanine J. Kirckof (Scott); and Jerome J. Jr. (Sherilyn Rasmusson); 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers: Theodore Feela; and Frank Feela; sisters-in-law: Betty Feela; Lucille Feela; and Theresa Feela; many other relatives and a host of friends.
