Gregory Herman Rohr was born on July 10, 1954 in Wadena, Minnesota. His parents were the late Herman and Betty (Worden/Theisen) Rohr. Greg attended St. Ann’s Parochial School and then graduated from the Wadena High School with the class of 1972. He was married to Debra Wahlenberg for 19 years as their marriage was blessed with two children: Crystal and Erik.
Greg was employed with Larson Glastron Boat Company in Little Falls for 26 years and then moved to Minneapolis as he was promoted at Genmar Holdings Inc. until 2008. He made his way to Iowa for a short time and returned to Minnesota where he resided in Cushing and was employed at the Vintage Golf Course in Staples. After making his home in McGregor, Minnesota in 2014, this is where Greg finally retired. He enjoyed fishing, his grandson, Enzo, his best friend, Deb, and spending time with his many friends.
On October 16, 2019, Greg passed away at his home in McGregor at 65 years of age. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents, Herman and Betty; brother: Larry; and step-father: Claire Theisen.
Greg is survived by his daughter Crystal Rohr, of Fargo; son: Erik Rohr, of Des Moines; grandson: Enzo; brother: Gary (Jeanne) Rohr, of Staples; many other relatives and a host of friends.
