Gerald "Jerry" Schneewind Obituary
Gerald Henry Schneewind was born March 1, 1934, the son of Henry and Emma (Hoese) Schneewind in Young America, Minnesota. He was married to Marilyn (Burkhart) in 1956 and was blessed with 4 sons, 2 granddaughters, 3 great granddaughters, and many grand dogs. Jerry honorably served in the U.S. Army and worked at Northwest Airlines for 30 years before retiring to Ottertail County.
Jerry was an avid outdoorsman/fisherman his entire life and was a Minnesota sports fan.
Jerry peacefully passed away in his sleep on September 20, 2019. Preceded in death by wife Marilyn and parents Henry and Emma Schneewind.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons: Jack, Tim (special friend Tracy), Dan, and Mark (Kim); sister Maxine (Lowell) Beck; brother Jon (Jacquie) Schneewind; granddaughters: Jenny (Steve) Weyandt, Kara (Blake) Farber; great granddaughters: Charlotte, Ivy, and Mira; many other relatives and friends.
