Evelyn Koplin

Evelyn Margreata (Stroot) Koplin was born on January 25, 1923, in Wadena, Minnesota. Her parents were Henry and Thersa (Tabery) Stroot. Evelyn grew up in Bluffton where she attended St. John’s school and graduated from Wadena High School. After completing a business degree in St. Cloud, she resided in California for two years and then in Minneapolis.

She was proud to work for the U. S. Postal Service. Upon retirement, she resided in Ottertail, Perham, and Wadena.

On November 29, 2019, she passed away after a long illness in Staples, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her parents, her three brothers, and so many she held dear. She is survived by her three children; by her three grandchildren; by her two great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law and their families; by her nieces and nephews and their families; and by many other loving people.
