Doris Isaacson

Doris Darlene Isaacson, age 76 of Brooklyn Center MN, passed away September 28, 2019 in Robbinsdale, Minnesota.

Doris was born to Eino and Signe Lillquist in Otter Tail County on August 1, 1943.  She graduated from Sebeka Public School with the Class of 1961.  Doris was married to Donald Isaacson on September 14, 1963.  They moved to St. Louis Park, MN where they bought a house and raised their two sons, Jeff and John. Doris loved the holidays; she was happiest during those times when her entire family could all be together.   She had a long career as a bookkeeper and continued working until just last winter.  Doris was well-liked, her friends and family especially loved her sense of humor.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband Donald, her parents Eino and Signe Lillquist and baby brother Delbert.

She is survived by sons Jeff (Al) Giraud-Isaacson and John (Michele) Isaacson; sister Delores Quale; brother Donald (Nellie) Lillquist; nieces and nephews Karen Quale Killam, Kevin Lillquist, Shannon Lausten, Kristine Tellers and Darin Lillquist; her closest friend Mark Swenson.  Doris will be sadly missed by the many others who knew and loved her.

A gathering to remember will be held Thurs. Oct. 10th from 6-7:30PM at the Cremation Society of MN, Brooklyn Park Chapel followed by a brief service. A time of remembrance is also planned Noon to 2PM Sat. Oct 12th at the Hub 71 Restaurant in Sebeka, MN. Interment at Meadow Apostolic Lutheran Cemetery, Wadena County.
