Cody Lee Reisenauer was born on October 2, 1996 at Tri-County Hospital in Wadena, Minnesota. His parents are Dwayne Lee Reisenauer and Karen Elizabeth (Hillukka) Schultz. Cody attended the Verndale Public School where he was a Great Lake Scholar and enjoyed wrestling in grade school and football in high school. He was employed with Steve’s Alignment, Wadena Hide & Fur, and most recently AgReliant Genetics, all of Wadena.
Cody resided in Verndale until he made his home in Wadena in the fall of 2015. He loved his dog Gunner and enjoyed working on vehicles as he was a great mechanic. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, hockey, skateboarding and attended music concerts.
Cody passed away at his home in Wadena, Minnesota on September 22, 2019 at 22 years of age. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Preceding Cody in death were his grandparents, Lawrence and Drucilla Reisenauer; Wilfred Hillukka; Tom Huffman; Sharon Meech; uncle, Greg Stensland; and cousin, Wyatt Hillukka.
Cody is survived by his father, Dwayne (Angie) Reisenauer of Staples; mother, Karen (Mark) Schultz of Verndale; 4 sisters: Holly (Adam) Swenson of Watford City, ND; Jordyn (Travis) Roush of Bertha; Liberty Schultz of Wadena; Brooke Reisenauer of Staples; grandparents: MaryAnn Huffman of Spearfish, SD; Sharon Hillukka of Menahga; Scott Meech of Staples; many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.
