Arland “Butch” Dean Teberg was born on June 1, 1950 in Wadena, Minnesota. His parents were the late Henry “Hank” Louis and Doris Dalorita (Mattson) Teberg. Butch graduated from the New York Mills High School with the class of 1968. On June 21, 1969 Butch was united in marriage with Gayle Jean Geiser at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Bluffton. Their marriage was blessed with 4 children. Butch and Gayle made their home in Bluffton and then moved out to San Diego, California for a short time. Returning to New York Mills, Butch was employed at Vaughan Chevrolet and then began at Lund Boats in 1973. Butch worked in all departments during his years of employment at Lund Boats, retiring in 2012.
Butch was an avid deer hunter, he also enjoyed fishing, woodworking and 4 wheeling. On November 12, 2019 Butch passed away at Sanford Health in Fargo, North Dakota at 69 years of age. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents, Hank and Doris and his sister, Janice.
Butch is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Gayle Teberg of New York Mills; 4 sons: Kyle (Brenda) Teberg of New York Mills; Jamie (Mia) Teberg of Pelican Rapids; Ryan (Amanda) Teberg of New York Millls; Dustin Teberg of Perham; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters: Patricia Noon of Fargo, North Dakota; Arleda (Ray) Tisdell of New York Mills; 3 brothers: Lyle (Marlene) Teberg of New York Mills; Randy (Eileeen) Teberg of Argusville, North Dakota; Terry (Sally) Teberg of Foley, Alabama; many other relatives and a host of friends.
