April (Kirkevold) Hahn

April Lynn Hahn (Kirkevold) of rural Dent passed away at the age of 59 surrounded by family at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota on the morning of March 28th, 2018 after a hard battle with cancer.

On December 16th, 1958 April was born to Kermit and Rosemary (Meyers) Kirkevold. She was the oldest of 4 children. April married Jeff Hahn on July 30th, 1989 and they raised 3 children together. She drove bus all over the U.S. for the past 30+ years.  She put on millions of miles and safely delivered thousands of people to their destinations.  Her last 17 years were spent driving bus with Anderson Coach in Frazee.

April was a beautiful mother, daughter, sister, wife, and a grandmother and will be missed by anyone she has ever touched. Preceding her in death by her Mother and Father-in-law Jean (Wendt) & Darold Hahn, and brother-in-law Michael Hahn, and dog Harley.

April is survived by her parents, Rosemary (Meyers) & Kermit Kirkevold; siblings: Kenneth & Nancy (Aurand) Kirkevold; Edward & Lori-Sue (Tooker) Kirkevold; and Ann (Kirkevold) & Terry Worwa; husband Jeffery Hahn; children: Justin & Tiffany (Helegeson) Kirkevold; Cassandra Hahn & Cody Jyrkas; and Courtney Hahn; grandchildren: Alex, Aliya, Brooklyn, Kylie, Ella & Haylie; 8 nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

A Celebration of Life was held on Sunday, April 15, 2018 from 1:00-7:00 p.m. at Anderson Bus Garage of Frazee, MN.
