Why Preplan?
Experiencing the loss of a family member or close friend is one of the most difficult and stressful time in our lives. Along with all of the emotions of grief and the loss comes planning the funeral service. Through preplanning your funeral, a person can make all of the decisions about their funeral ahead of time. Pre-Planning provides direction for family members in planning the funeral service. It is important to remember that the funeral not only pays tribute to the person that died, but is for the living as a way to help them through the grieving process.
Since 1960, the number of pre-planned funerals has increased by 1000%. Why such a dramatic increase?
Pre-planning assures that:
Your wishes are recorded to guide your loved ones.
Important names and dates are recorded, as well as life events to aid us in filing legal documents and creating a family history.
You may also spare your loved ones any unnecessary emotional or financial burden. Under present laws, your funds will be exempt from county and/or nursing home attachments.
Pre-Planning your funeral might seem overwhelming. However if you think of it as a way to pass on cherished memories and wishes, planning ahead becomes a rewarding experience that offers a great peace of mind.

I have already made arrangements and funded my funeral in advance. What if I move or want to use another funeral home? These arrangements can be reestablished with another funeral home, are transferable to another funeral home at any time.
